Club Meetings:

Club meetings are held on the second Thursday of each new month at the Credenhill Social Club, starting at 8PM. For address details please see the Contact Us page >>

We provide on site catering for hot food and drinks.

Social Events & Play Days:

As a club we organise BBQ's, Green Lane Days, Off-Roading days and attend shows where we have our own stand. We are also considering a hire facility for Land Rover enthusiasts on a try before you buy basis.

We also usually have at least two camping weekends in our diary per year as well as an organised fun and green lane days monthly.

Events usually start at 10AM with a break for lunch around 1PM and end between 4:30PM to 5:30PM. Event attendance fees range form £20.00 to £50.00 per vehicle depending on the event.

Children are welcome with a supervising adult and this will be up to the discretion of the marshals. We would ask for your co-operation in any vehicles entering the off road events as marshals will need to check the vehicle for suitability to go on such off road events.

All events have fully qualified First Aiders and Safety Marshals on site where applicable.

> 03/01/09 - The Loss Of A Club Member & Friend

Sadly Kenrick Russel-Jones, our Club Secretary was found to have passed away on 29th December 2008.

It is understood he passed peacefully while at home at his favourite place, in front of the PC where he managed the Herefordshire Land Rover Club's Secretarial and Admin roles.

Those close to him and knew of him are equally shocked at his sudden passing and we as a club extend our condolences to all of you mourning his loss.

The funeral arrangements are underway and a date for the service is to be confirmed. Please check back here for updates on when this will be.

In the meantime if you are able to help donate towards the wreath from the Club this will be greatly received. Please send all correspondence to the Club Chairman and thank you in advance.

Club Secretarial Change:

With our loss the Club Chairman, Dave Jackson, undertake these responsibilities on a temporary basis with immediate effect.

Our website Contact Us and Club Committee & Board Members pages have will be updated to reflect this change and more news will be posted should further changes in relation to this develop.

Club Treasury Change:

It is with regret that John Jackson, Club Treasurer has decided to leave the club for personal reasons.

Please note that Gary Grant, Vice Chairman is heading up this position with immediate effect on a permanent or temporary basis yet to be confirmed. We wish John the best with his future plans.

Secretarial & Press Officer Changes:

Due to circumstances beyond the Herfordshire Land Rover Club's control, Mike James is no longer Club Secretary or Club Press Officer.

Therefore with immediate effect, Dave Jackson, Club Chairman will undertake this responsibility on a permanent or temporary basis yet to be confirmed.

Please direct any correspondence intended for either the Treasurer or Secretary & Press Enquiries to the new people in these positions and update any records which may now be out of date.

Our website Contact Us and Club Committee & Board Members pages have been updated to reflect this change and more news will be posted should further changes in relation to this develop.

The Herefordshire Land Rover Club is celebrating it's fifth anniversay this month after being founded five years ago this month in September 2003.

A special thank you goes out to all our Club Members and accosiates whom from the start have helped us grow and support the Land Rover Way Of Life.

Please note that the Club Chairman's mobile contact number has changed with immediate effect. Therefore 07515 430023 no longer can accept calls and you can now contact Dave Jackson on the new mobile number, 07504513636.

> 28/04/08 - Website Update

The final phase of the website update went live today. The navigation menu has now changed and therefore the site is more organised and has room for the new content on the way.

The Herefordshire Land Rover Club website as you may have noticed has changed slightly and is still undergoing a refreshed update.

Once complete the site will be easier to use, clearer to see and faster to load. I hope you will like the changed design along with the forthcoming and future planned updates.

> 13/04/08 - Punch Hunt Play Day Sunday

After the great success and positive feedback from our first Punch Hunt held on 13/04/08, the club is delighted to announce that further Punch Hunt events will be organised.

Both the Chairman, Dave Jackson and Rob James whom helped arrange the event would like to thank again all those who took part and for all being such great participants.

Congratulations again to the winners of the Punch Hunt whom both each won £50.00 in cash. A special mention goes to Gin who sadly was unable to complete the event due to vehicle breakdown but showed the most consideration for helping out other drivers when stuck.

During this meeting the Chairman Election results were disclosed and a unanimous vote was made in favour of Dave Jackson, the current club Chairman to remain in this position.
